This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.
Artist's Description
"La Diosa de Hoy" (2002) translates to "The Goddess of Today" and contemplates beauty, the human condition, femininity, and women in Latin-American and American Society.
The original painting was donated to auction at The Seed Institute, Albuquerque, New Mexico. The proceeds funded the Wisdom from the Origins Conference and went to a special population on a Native American reservation.
About Julie Davis
Julie is multi-talented as a National Award Winning Graphic Designer & Artist. Her formal education includes a BFA in Fine Art from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Texas as well as a MFA in Web Design and New Media, currently in progress, from the Academy of Art University in San Fransisco, California. She has been commissioned for portraits, faux finishes & murals in many private residences & government buildings. Julie works in many mediums to include oil, acrylic, watercolor, digital-media & photography. She spent several years as the Senior Graphic Designer for the Public Affairs & Marketing Office of one of the largest military medical centers in the United States.
