Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Artist's Description

Tick feeding. Close-up of a tick clinging to human skin. Ticks are small, blood-sucking arachnids (not insects) that feed on mammals. They fasten onto the victim's skin with lock-tight, piercing mouthparts and then expand in size as blood flows into them. Tick bites can transmit diseases, such as Lyme disease, which causes fever and inflammation of the joints. Some ticks produce a toxin that poisons nerves, leading in extreme cases to paralysis and death. Ticks found on the skin should be removed by gentle heating with a lit cigarette or freshly extinguished match. They should not be pulled off as this may leave the mouthparts behind.
